How can I calculate what the cost of a hire would be?
Very easily! Simply multiply the daily hire price of the car you want to hire by the number of days you require- no other charges to add on!
Really? What about airport pickup fees administration fees, licence check fees, registration check fees, extra driver fees, child restraint fees?
We simply don't charge gratuitous fees, the only extra fees we have are truly for extras, GPS hire is $5 a day and if you choose to return the car to the airport there is a small $5 fee to cover parking costs, that's all! we want to make it simple to holiday in beautiful Tasmania and we always found the extra fees left a nasty (and confused) feeling behind so we choose not to apply them.
How many kilometres per day are included in the hire costs?
All of our hires include unlimited kilometres- Tasmania is made for driving after all!
What if something goes wrong when I hire with you?
Relax! We have full 24 hour Roadside Assist with RACT.
How old are your vehicles?
Our Corolla Fleet is made up of 2002-2006 models as well as the current series 2007 on "ZRE" model. If you have a look on the "Our Fleet" page you can see the models we currently run.
Do I need a credit card to hire a vehicle with you or is cash ok?
We require a valid Visa or Mastercard, either in credit card or debit card format (with a balance available of course!).
Do you need a deposit or security bond?
Yes, we require a $50 booking deposit (which contributes to the payment of the hire) and a $500 security bond which is fully refundable when the vehicle is returned refuelled and in good clean condition- just as it was issued.
What is your insurance excess and do you have an option to reduce by paying daily fee?
Class A Vehicles have an excess of $2000 and Class B of $5000. We strongly recommend travel insurance which covers you no matter who you hire with and baggage, cancellations etc. Travel insurance from is normally available cheaper than we could possibly offer excess reduction. We have chosen to encourage travel insurance as we believe it offers the best value and best cover for our customers- most excess reduction schemes offered by hire car companies have so many exclusions they are a waste of money and can double the cost of hire!

Can you deliver the vehicle to the Launceston Airport or my Launceston Accomodation?
Most certainly, just let us know when you enquire and we can arrange this free of charge for hires of three days or more.
I want to collect the vehicle from your premises- are you in Launceston city?
Yes, we are located less than a kilometre from the Launceston GPO at 7-9 Gleadow St Invermay which is right near Aurora Stadium- straight down Tamar St, across the bridge and turn left at Gleadow St. if you can see the Mazda Dealership you are right across the road from us!
